RPH Chart Comparing This Year to Last

RPH=Revenue Per Hour

Revenue Per Hour is calculated by dividing the fee WalMart pays us to do each store by the number of manhours its takes us to complete the inventory (count hours, audit hours, non-count hours, briefing hours, etc.)

This revenue is used to pay your hourly wages, hotel costs, meal money, and vehicle expenses.  The greater the RPH, the more funds are available for pay increases, better hotels, and crew incentives.

When we are productive in the store and are safe on the job (Workers Comp Claims are an additional expense paid by our RPH), everyone benefits.

That is why the crew incentive is based on our RPH for each store.  Not only do you see an immediate reward in additional travel time, but the higher RPH will result in additional benefits in the future.

Driver Violation

Fleet speed violation 66 Yellow 7/25/2013 6:17 7/25/2013 6:17 0:16:36 0:10:22

This speed violation lasted for 11 seconds, but cost one of your drivers 0.5 points and they are now at the 2 point limit.

Keep your speeds at 60 or below when the Speed Limit is 65 or above, and at or below the Speed Limit when it is 60 or below.

The difference in travel time over 300 miles between traveling 65 MPH and 60 MPH is 23 minutes.  It is worth it for us to pay an extra 0.4 in travel hours to keep our drivers qualified.  (The time difference for each 5 MPH increment as you go faster becomes less and less, and your fuel consumption increases.  This is bad for safety AND energy conservation).

60 MPH is the new MAX

That includes ALL vehicles.  In case you are thinking that driving a non-Green Road van exempts you from this policy, remember two things:

1) You have a sticker on the back of your van that states we will not drive over 65.  Other drivers on the road can call in on you (happened already this year) and you will be charged points for a violation.

2) If I witness you driving over 60 MPH, I will change your pay code from Driver to Passenger (reducing your pay for that trip by $2.75 per hour)  and I will deduct 5 points from your next Performance Appraisal for poor Safety practices (5 points is equal to 5 cents/hour of your potential raise).
